Meet Charlie
I’m Charlie, an Apprentice Panel Beater at Yeovil Accident Repair. When I began my career in 2023, I was new to the automotive industry and feel very grateful to be working within such a friendly, supportive team. I have already built up a vast array of knowledge during my time here and look forward to completing my apprenticeship and seeing how my career progresses in the future.
My apprenticeship has been a great experience so far. In the beginning I was very apprehensive about starting a new career in the mechanic industry, however the whole team here at Yeovil Accident Repair have been very supportive and it’s been very enjoyable learning new skills on the job. My apprenticeship comprises of both practical experience and the completion of a series of online programs.
I find it very satisfying repairing imperfections and dents within vehicle panels. It’s very interesting how each repair job is completely unique and provides a fresh challenge. I also thoroughly enjoy welding and using filler. It’s great to see the before and after on each car and how our hard work, time and skill on the job will create an impressive result. I am very excited to complete my apprenticeship and become a qualified member of the team.
